Because of donors like you, in 2018 we were able to commit over $1,000 per hospital to support families admitted to Medstar Georgetown University Hospital, Johns Hopkins Hospital, and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Pediatric Transplant, ICU, and Oncology Units over the 2018 Holiday Season. We were also able to send care packages and sympathy items to 6 families in 2018!
We continued our mission, in collaboration with Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and many other organizations, to help relocate and provide outreach and resources to families of children with terminal and life threatening liver disease/liver transplant world wide.
In 2019, we are working to expand our support to Anne & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago. We’re working with Johns Hopkins Psychologists to provide a mental health resource, and we’ve established new and complimentary partnerships with organizations such as Help Hope Live, UPMC & Donate Life: Living Donor Transplant, Liverspace, and Colleen’s BA 5K.
In 2020, we hope to continue to expand, support Liver Families world wide, and we are hoping to add scholarship opportunities for “Liver Kids” and “Liver Parents” to attend courses toward a degree in Heath and Sciences.
